Searra Foote

Searra Foote is a graduate research assistant in the Lunar and Planetary Laboratory at the University of Arizona. She is interested in astrobiology and its relevance to the study of exoplanet atmospheres. Her current project collaboration includes the development and use of models to understand the thermal structure of exoplanet mesospheres and their processes, such as atmospheric escape. She is interested in how this could relate to the emergence of a potentially habitable world and ultimately endeavors to integrate important questions about planetary habitability into her exoplanet research.
