Patrick Tribbett

Patrick is a graduate research assistant in the Department of Astronomy and Planetary Science at Northern Arizona University interested in the astrochemical evolution of planetary surfaces and atmospheres.  He primarily works with Prof. Mark Loeffler investigating the chemical and physical changes of astrophysically relevant ices.  Laboratory based thermal and radiolytic experiments are performed in an ultra-high vacuum system located in the PEAXS lab at NAU.  Patrick is also working with Prof. Tyler Robinson modeling ultraviolet occultation data of Titan’s atmosphere using MCMC analyses to retrieve further constraints on molecular atmospheric constituents and evaluate the efficacy of observing ultraviolet transit spectra of exoplanet atmospheres.
