Amber V. Young

Amber Vanessa Young is a graduate research assistant at Northern Arizona University who is heavily engaged in the search for life elsewhere. Using climate and photochemical modeling tools, she models the atmospheres of terrestrial planets to understand and characterize signatures that are indicative of life. Amber is actively collaborating with members of the HabEx (Habitable Exoplanet Observatory) and LUVOIR (Large UV/Optical/Infrared Surveyor) Science and Technology Definition Teams to develop future observation strategies for the characterization of exoplanets.
